PROTECH has successfully commissioned a new state of art 60,000 MTPA (50% w/w basis) Hydrogen peroxide plant at Meghmani Finechem Limited in their Dahej complex. This project, which was part of their downstream integration plan for utilization of hydrogen, was licensed by a South Korean company and the detailed engineering for this project was exclusively done by PROTECH Consultants Pvt. Ltd.Chennai. PROTECH personnel was also fully involved in the initial start-up and commissioning of the plant. The plant is now under capacity ramp-up mode and is expected to achieve full capacity towards the end of 2020″

Protech has obtained an order from Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. (GFL), Dahej and Sree Rayalseema Alkalies & Allied Chemicals Ltd. (SRAACL), Rayalseema for carrying out the basic & detailed engineering services for Liquid Chlorine Pumping System. The capacity of the Liquid Chlorine Pumping System for GFL is 18 TPH and for SRAACL it is 10 TPH.
Protech has obtained an order from Tamil Nadu Petroproducts Ltd., Manali for carrying out the basic engineering & design of the Liquid Ammonia Vaporization System. The capacity of the new Ammonia Vaporizer will be 466 kg/hr. The Vapor Ammonia that is generated from the Vaporizer will be taken to a reactor for producing Ammonium Chloride.

Protech has successfully commissioned 90 TPD Phase 1 Chlor Alkali Plant at Malay Sino Chemical Ind. Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia on 03.08.2011.
Protech has successfully commissioned 26.4 TPD (100% basis) Calcium Chloride Plant (Continuous Process) at Gujarat Alkalies Chemical Ltd, Ranoli on January 2011. This is the First Continuous Process of Calcium Chloride plant in India. Right now it is operating at a capacity of around equivalent to 18 TPD due to short fall in the capacity of their existing spray drying unit.

Protech will be commissioning the ongoing Calcium Chloride project for Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd. (GACL), Ranoli by the end of December’ 2010.
Protech will fully complete the supply of equipment & machinery for Calcium Chloride project for Oman Chlorine SAOG,under their scope by the end of December’2010. In the site, civil works has commenced and is progressing.

Protech has obtained an order from Chemplast Sanmar Limited to set up a 281 TPD Chloro-Alkali Plant in Egypt. Chemplast Sanmar Limited has recently acquired Trust Chemical Industries, Egypt. The existing plant of Trust Chemicals has a capacity of 570 TPD and Chemplast Sanmar decided to expand it further by 216 TPD. The basic & detailed engineering for the proposed expansion will be done by Protech and the membrane technology will be provided by Asahi Kasei Corporation, Japan.
